Türkiye increases minimum pension by 36%

The Turkish government plans to increase the minimum pension in the country by 2,000 liras ($105.02) or 36.4%, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a joint broadcast of local TV channels.
According to him, the minimum pension will be increased from 5,500 liras ($288.82) to 7,500 liras ($393.84).
