Shekel falls to its lowest against US dollar since 2015

The US dollar to shekel exchange exceeded four shekels on October 17 amid geopolitical risks, which is the highest value in 8.5 years, Report informs referring to trading data.
The dollar-shekel exchange rate dropped by 0.24% to 4.0102 shekels per dollar from the previous closing level of 4.0199 shekels. A day earlier, the maximum level was 4.0266 shekels.
Since the beginning of October, the shekel has fallen in price against the dollar by more than 5%, and the day before by 1%.
