Problem loans increase in Azerbaijan

The value of overdue loans in Azerbaijan as of March 1 this year amounted to 917.5 million manats ($539.9 million), Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 1.9 percent more than last month and 2.7 percent more than at the beginning of the year.
Problem loans over the past year have decreased by 29.3 percent.
At the end of February, the share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio was 6.3 percent. This figure was 6.1 percent at the end of last year and 8.3 percent at the end of February last year.
