Baku. 26 January. REPORT.AZ/ "Bitcoin is not a currency, because a currency is supposed to be a stable store of value, and a currency that can fluctuate 25% in a day can’t be used, for instance, to pay wages. It’s a speculation. Based on a misunderstanding".
Report informs referring to the TASS, American billionaire investor George Soros said speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
"It is not advisable to invest in crypto-currency and use them as a means of settlement. The blockchain technology behind Bitcoin can be put to positive use. Its primary appeal was for tax evasion", he noted.
