Forecast: Bitcoin will soon replace SWIFT system

Baku. 6 December. REPORT.AZ/ The interbank electronic financial settlement and information exchange system SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) will replace bitcoin. 

Report informs citing the Haberler, one of the founders of the “Bitcoin Foundation” John Matonis said.

"Bitcoin is currently facing a huge demand. In particular, demand from Japan and Korea is higher. Bitcoin is both an investment instrument and money transfer system. It is the ideal candidate for SWIFT, an international payment system. Bitcoin is also a valuable asset. With the creation of Bitcoin, people have had the opportunity to invest directly in the protocols, such as “http” and “Tcp”, for the first time", J. Matonis said. 

J.Matonis said that soon MasterCard, Visa and other payment systems would accept the bitcoin as a foreign currency.
