Economy of Nakhchivan grows by over 2%

In the first half of 2022, gross domestic product of 1.363 billion manats ($802.48 million), 2.2% more than a year ago, was produced in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the local State Statistics Committee.

Over the past year, the value of GDP per capita in the autonomous republic increased by 2.3% and reached 2,943 manats ($1,732).

Within the six months, industry accounted for 30.2% of Nakchivan’s GDP.
