Economy growth in China accelerated for first time in last 8 years

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ The growth rate of Chinese economy has accelerated in 2017 and amounted to 6.9% for the first time since 2010.

Report informs citing the Bloomberg, National Bureau of Statistics of China said.

It is reported that the reason for the acceleration of Chinese economy from 6.7% (in 2016) to 6.9% (in 2017) is due to the expansion of exports, the rise in budget revenues, the rising household income, and the rise in corporate profits.

Notably, in 2016, China's economy has grown to the lowest level in the last 26 years.

In addition, it is reported that Investments in fixed assets increased by 7.2% per year, with minimum rate since 1999.

Notbaly, in the fourth quarter, the Chinese economy grew by 6.8% year-on-year.
