The European Commission will allocate 15.8 million euros to “improve opinion” about the European Union (EU) in neighboring countries. Report informs referring to the tender. The funds will be allocated to the participants of the European Neighborhood Policy program.

“The overall objective of this program is to raise awareness and deepen public awareness of the European Union and its policies, as well as improve public opinion regarding the EU in the territory of neighboring countries through specially developed strategic communication measures.”

About ten million euros will be spent on programs in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. The rest are in Syria, Libya, Egypt, and other states neighboring the European Union in the south. The project is designed for four years and starts in November.
