Cost of paid services to population in Azerbaijan up by 12%

During January-April this year, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan amounted to 3,504 million manats ($2.06 billion), up 11.9% from the same period last year.

Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee, that legal entities accounted for 2,639.8 million manats ($1.55 billion) or 75.3% of the total cost of services.

During the reporting period, the public sector accounted for 756 million manats ($44.59 million) of the cost of paid services, and the private sector for 2,748 million ($1.616 billion).

During the past 4 months, each resident of the country used various paid services worth 345.7 manats ($202.29) on average, or 63.9 manats ($37.57) more than a year earlier.
