CBA: Supply exceeded demand in 92% of currency auctions last year

In 2023, the supply exceeded the demand in 92% of the currency auctions held by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Report informs citing CBA.
"Equilibrium in the foreign exchange market played a special role in limiting the imported inflation. During this period, the nominal effective exchange rate of the manat increased by 19.3%, which is the main factor reducing imported inflation."
