Azerbaijani banks' net foreign assets surge

As of April 1, the Azerbaijani banks' net foreign assets amounted to AZn 19,101.9 million, showing a 0.4% growth in comparison to a month earlier.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is 1.5% more than the beginning of the year, and 7.5% than last year.

As of the end of March, the banks' net domestic assets were AZN 10,197.6 million, up 6.8% from February, 13.8% from a year earlier, and down 1.7% from the beginning of the year.
