Azerbaijan, Sweden discuss cooperation priorities within IOTA

The State Tax Service (STS) of Azerbaijan discussed with the Swedish Tax Agency matters of strengthening cooperation within the Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations (IOTA).

Report informs via STS that the parties reviewed priority areas for joint work, achievements in international relations between tax authorities, and prospective projects.

The meeting was held via videoconference between the head of STS and IOTA President Orkhan Nazarli and the Director General of the Swedish Tax Agency, Katrin Westling Palm.

The participants discussed the implementation of tasks set during Azerbaijan's chairmanship in IOTA. The parties reviewed proposals for improving the organization's work, supporting its initiatives by tax administrations, increasing financial capabilities, and developing effective management mechanisms.
