Azerbaijan sees decrease in problem loans

Overdue loans in Azerbaijan as of January 1 this year amounted to 893.1 million manats ($525.6 million), Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 3.2 percent less compared to December 1 last year.
Problem loans over the past year have decreased by 29.8 percent.
The share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio at the end of 2020 was 6.1 percent. At the end of 2019, this figure was 8.3 percent.
