Azerbaijan's economy grew by 0.8%

Baku. 17 February. REPORT.AZ/ In January 2017, gross domestic product manufactured by the Azerbaijani residents increased by 0.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and made 5 233.1 mln AZN.
Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee (SSC), 47.7% of the GDP production accounted for industry, 9.5% for trade, repair of vehicles, 7.2% for transport and storage sectors, 6.8% for construction, 2.7% for agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.5% for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.6% for information and communication sectors, 15.9% for other areas.
Net taxes on product and import made 6.1% of GDP.
56.3% of the gross domestic product accounted for non-oil sector.
