Azerbaijan observes 3% growth in broad money supply in AZN

As of April 1, 2025, Azerbaijan’s broad money supply (M3) exceeded 46.73 billion manats ($27.488 billion), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

This represents a 0.1% increase compared to the previous month, a 0.5% rise compared to early 2025, and 4.2% growth compared to the same period in 2024.

The money supply (M2) in manats exceeded 35.559 billion manats ($20.917 billion), marking a 0.3% monthly increase but a 3% decline compared to the beginning of the year. However, it showed a 3.2% rise compared to the same period last year.

During this timeframe, the money supply (M1) amounted to 28.312 billion manats ($16.654 billion), indicating a 0.6% monthly decline, a 4.5% drop since the start of the year, and 1.3% lower levels compared to April 1, 2024.

Additionally, as of April 1, the cash mass outside banks (M0) stood at 16.075 billion manats (almost $9,456 billion), reflecting a 3.4% increase from the previous month, a 1.4% decrease compared to the beginning of the year, and a 4.1% rise year-on-year.
