Azerbaijan considers insuring investments

Azerbaijan has prepared a bill to amend the law on insurance of deposits regarding the insurance of investments made via investment companies, said Rauf Gurbanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of PASHA Capital Investment Company, Report informs.
"Currently, the bill is being discussed with the relevant parties. The intended change is related to the recovery of the assets of the investment company's clients if it goes bankrupt. However, it is not envisaged to insure the clients' investments due to the bankruptcy of the issuer," he said.
