Average monthly salary in Nakhchivan rises by 5.6%

In January-June 2026, the average monthly nominal salary in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 872 manat ($513), Report informs, citing Nakhchivan's State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, this is 5.6% more than in the same period last year.

For comparison, in the first six months of the year, the average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in Azerbaijan increased by 7% compared with the same period last year, reaching 1,174 manat ($691).

Average monthly nominal wages were higher in mining, financial and insurance activities, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as transport and storage.
