Average monthly salary in Baku up 8%

In January–May 2025, the average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees in Baku amounted to 1,374 manats ($808.76), according to the Baku City Statistical Department.

The average salary in the capital increased by 8.1% compared to the same period in 2024.

For comparison, the average monthly nominal wage of salaried workers across Azerbaijan during the same period rose by 9.1% year-on-year, reaching 1,095 manats ($644.12).
