Adalat Muradov: UNEC cooperates with 128 universities in 30 countries

Over the past five years, Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has established partnerships with 128 universities across 30 countries, Adalat Muradov, Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), said during an event held as part of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group in Baku.

Report quotes him as saying internationalization is one of the key pillars of UNEC's development strategy.

"Between 2015 and 2025, the number of partnership agreements increased more than elevenfold. These partnerships are not merely a statistical indicator but a practical platform that creates new opportunities for academic mobility, joint initiatives, research cooperation, and students. Through exchange programs, UNEC supports the mobility of both students and academic staff. For young people, academic mobility is not only an opportunity to study abroad but also a chance to gain international experience, acquire new skills, and broaden their horizons," he said.
