Volume of SOCAR’s January gas production announced

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 0.7 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January 2024, down 0.1 bcm, or 12.5%, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the operational data of the Ministry of Energy for January 2024.
Azerbaijan produced 4.3 bcm of natural gas last month. 1.1 bcm of gas production was extracted from ACG (remained unchanged), while 2.4 bcm was extracted from Shah Deniz (+0.1 bcm, or 4.35%).
Absheron produced 0.13 bcm of gas. Gas was transported with an increase of approximately 30 million cubic meters compared to the relevant period last year.
