STAR Refinery increases jet fuel production by more than 34%

In September of this year, the STAR refinery (NEZ), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 148,037 tons (+37,787 tons, or 34.3%) of kerosene (aviation fuel) for jet engines, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
In total, 558,204 tons of kerosene for jet engines were produced from oil refineries in Türkiye in September of this year, 106,373 tons, or 23.5%, more than in September 2022.
