STAR refinery cuts crude oil imports by 10%

In September of this year, the STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, imported about 1,005,540 tons of crude oil (-106,149 tons, or 9.54%), which is 23.05% of the crude oil imported to Türkiye in total, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulation Authority (EMRA).
Oil refineries in Türkiye imported more than 4,362,004 tons of crude oil (+13,666 tons, or 0.31%) in the reporting period.
