SOCAR to join Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 program

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), after announcing its goals, intends to join the United Nations Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 (OGMP 2.0) program, head of the SOCAR department, Mustafa Gurbanli, said at a panel within the forum on social processes in media plane in Baku.

According to him, this will happen in the near future.

"More than 100 oil and gas companies have joined the OGMP 2.0 program, and this program annually collects reports from these oil and gas companies and publishes them in open sources," Gurbanli said.
