SOCAR produces nearly 2 bcm of gas in Q1 2024

In January-March of this year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced nearly 1.96 billion cubic meters of gas from the fields operating independently or as the main shareholder, according to SOCAR's report on drilling, production, processing, and export figures for the first quarter of 2024, Report informs.

This is 219.41 million cubic meters, or 9.95%, less than the indicators of the first quarter of last year.

Gas production across the country increased by 418.35 million cubic meters, or 3.4%, compared to the corresponding period in 2023 and amounted to 12.58 billion cubic meters.
