SOCAR increases gas production by over 8%

In the second quarter of this year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 1.969 billion cubic meters of gas at fields operated independently or as the main shareholder.
According to Report, citing SOCAR, this is an increase of 154.2 million cubic meters (8.5%) compared to the same period last year.
Overall, gas production in Azerbaijan during the reporting period grew by 170.8 million cubic meters (1.4%), reaching 12.692 billion cubic meters, compared to Q2 of 2024.
