SOCAR and US Citi Bank discuss cooperation in energy fields

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with the US Citi Bank's Chief Executive Officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, David Livingstone, Report informs.

The meeting discussed the potential cooperation opportunities between SOCAR and Citi Bank in the fields of oil, gas, petrochemicals, and renewable energy.

The sides also discussed the situation in the international financial markets and exchanged opinions on other issues of mutual interest.

SOCAR and Citi Bank have had a partnership for more than 15 years, including the financing of a number of strategically important projects that contribute to the region's economic development and energy security.
