According to an optimist version as a result of the deal reached by OPEC+ countries, the oil price may rise to $40-45 a barrel by the end of 2020, said the Director-General of Gazprom Alexander Dyukov.
He says the optimist variant includes an end of quarantine and restoration of business activity in summer. In this case, the demand for oil will return to a pre-crisis level.
"Maybe we are in the threshold of a new Great Recession. Therefore, it’s too difficult to say where the deal is more or less than the norm. It seems the deal is not a dogma, certain changes are possible depending on the situation in the market", - he said.
