Masdar's renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan to commence operations by 2026

Masdar, a leading renewable energy company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is set to launch its solar and wind power projects in Azerbaijan by 2026, Javid Abdullayev, head of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources, told Report.
The solar power plants, located in Bilasuvar and Neftchala, boast impressive capacities of 445 MW and 315 MW, respectively. Meanwhile, the 240 MW Absheron-Garadagh wind farm is slated to go live by the end of the same year.
The work on all projects is underway according to the schedule, the company representative said.
