Martyrs commemorated in BP Azerbaijan

BP Azerbaijan has honored the memory of martyrs fallen during the Patriotic War, Report informs, citing the company's Twitter page.

"Together with the people of Azerbaijan, we honor the memory of our martyrs with pride," the company tweeted.

BP has been functioning in Azerbaijan since the early 1990s. The company is the operator of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz, major projects in oil and gas production in the country. Owing to this project, implemented in cooperation with SOCAR, other partners, and with the support of the Azerbaijani government, Azerbaijani oil started to be supplied to the world markets from the Mediterranean port of Ceyhan. The exportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe began late last year.
