Gas production from ACG block up 2.3% in January-April

The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block produced 4.5 billion cubic meters of associated gas in January-April 2025, which is 2.3% higher than in the same period last year, Report informs via Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry.
Some 9 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced from the Shah Deniz field in January-April 2025 (a decrease of 2.2%), and 0.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the Absheron field (at the level of January-April 2024).
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan produced 2.7 billion cubic meters of gas in the reporting period (an increase of 3.9%).
According to the Energy Ministry, since the start of development and as of May 1, 2025, a total of 234.2 billion cubic meters of associated gas have been produced from the ACG block, and 245.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the Shah Deniz field.
The total volume of gas exports as of May 1, 2025, from the ACG block and the Shah Deniz field amounted to 176.5 billion cubic meters.
