Gas prices in Europe reach $470

Exchange prices for gas in Europe on March 16 slightly changed at the beginning of trading to the settlement price of the previous day ($470 per 1,000 cubic meters), Report informs referring to the London ICE exchange.

April (nearest) futures on the TTF index (the biggest hub in Europe located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $473.9 (+0.8%) per 1,000 cubic meters. Further, they grew to $476.7 (+1.4%). The dynamics of prices is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $470.3 per 1,000 cubic meters.
