France has brought gas reserves intended for the coming winter up to 90.06%, Report informs referring to Le Figaro newspaper.
The country is approaching the government's target of reaching 100% in November to weather potential energy supply difficulties.
A day earlier, the head of the French Energy Regulatory Committee, Emmanuelle Wargon, said that France's situation with filling gas storage facilities is better than that of other European countries. "Our goal is 100% occupancy by the beginning of winter. We are absolutely confident that we will achieve this," Wargon said on BFMTV.
