Oil prices increased slightly, as December futures for Brent rose in price on the London ICE Futures exchange by $0.12 (0.13%), to $92.32 per barrel, Report reports via Interfax.
By this time, November futures for WTI had risen in price on the New York Mercantile Exchange NYMEX by $0.14 (0.15%) to $90.93 per barrel.
Concerns about potential supply shortages in the market supported oil prices in September. Many analysts remain confident that prices will continue to move upward, towards $100 per barrel.
Brent rose in price by 9.7% last month and by 27.3% in the third quarter, and WTI - by 8.6% and 28.5%, respectively.
The ADIPEC 2023 international oil and gas exhibition and conference will be held in Abu Dhabi from October 2 to 5, during which new signals may be heard about what to expect in the oil market. Among the speakers at the conference are OPEC Secretary General Haitham al-Ghais and UAE Energy Minister Suheil al-Mazrouei.
