Brent falls to $66.34 ahead of Trump-Putin talks

Oil prices are declining amid market anticipation surrounding upcoming talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Report, citing Reuters, the drop in prices is being attributed to speculation that sanctions imposed on Moscow over the war in Ukraine may be eased as a result of the negotiations.

As of 12:23 Baku time (GMT+4), Brent crude futures had fallen by 50 cents, or 0.8%, to $66.34 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures were down 57 cents, or 0.9%, trading at $63.39 per barrel.
