Azerbaijan's revenue from methanol exports increases by over 25%

In January-May 2025, Azerbaijan exported methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $47.4 million, Report informs, citing the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
This is $9.6 million or 25.4% more compared to the first five months of 2024.
In May alone, Azerbaijan exported methanol worth $11 million, which is $2.4 million or 27.9% more year-on-year.
During the first five months of 2025, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 11.6% compared to the same period last year, amounting to $1.4 billion.
