Azerbaijan reveals volume of production of oil products in January

In January of this year, 115,800 tons (-0.1%) of automobile gasoline were produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the first month of this year, 179,200 tons of diesel fuel were produced in the country, which is 7.4% less than the previous year.

In January, the total production of oil products amounted to 303.6 million manats ($178.53 million), 9.6% less than the same period of 2023.

During the reporting period, 2,400 tons of lubricants and 12,400 tons of petroleum bitumen were produced. During the year, the production of lubricating oils decreased by 57.9%, while the production of petroleum bitumen increased by 22.8%.

Also, in the first month of the year, 16,400 tons of liquefied gases, 43,700 tons of kerosene, and 19,500 tons of petroleum coke were produced in the country. In the last year, the production of liquefied gases in Azerbaijan decreased by 26.5%, the production of petroleum coke fell by 13.3%, and the production of kerosene increased by 4.8%.
