Azerbaijan posts 5% growth in gas production

According to operational data of the Ministry of Energy for January-September 2023, Azerbaijan produced 36.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas, up 5%, or 1.7 billion cubic meters, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry.
9.6 bcm of gas production was extracted from ACG (-0.4 bcm, or 4.2%), while 19.7 bcm from Shah Deniz (1.2 bcm, or 6.5%) and 0.4 bcm from Absheron. SOCAR produced 6.4 bcm (+0.5 bcm, or 8.5%) gas during this period.
Gas was transported with an increase of 1.5 bcm, namely 5% compared to the relevant period of last year.
