Sarfraz: British universities should explore cooperation with Azerbaijan

The University of East London (UEL) is exploring the possibility of establishing a partnership with Azerbaijan, Lord Aamer Sarfraz, member of the House of Lords and Chancellor of the university.
He said it is encouraging to see the growing interest of Azerbaijani students in studying in the UK, adding that this year, he became the Chancellor of the University of East London, a major institution with 40,000 students.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and establishing partnerships between educational institutions of the two countries.
"Universities should explore potential partnerships and collaborations in Azerbaijan," Sarfraz added.
