The issue of human capital development is on the agenda of the Azerbaijani government, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of ADA University Elkin Nurmammadov said at an event on the occasion of the creation of the Azerbaijan Educational Research Association (AzERA) and its accession to the European Educational Research Association (EERA), organized at ADA University, Report informs.
According to Nurmammadov, the economic system of Azerbaijan is now at a transitional stage of its development, reaching a new level, and for this it is necessary to stimulate the growth of the private sector, as well as the development of human capital.
“To achieve success in this direction, education is key. And to develop the education sector, it is necessary to conduct various studies. I hope that AzERA will successfully cope with this task,” he said.
In turn, EERA President Professor Marit Honerød Hoveid emphasized that the creation of such platforms is important for the development of research in the field of education.
“EERA is an organization that tries to promote high standards of research and we have several activities to promote this,” the professor added.
