The effects of climate change are being felt around the world.
Report informs that Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Rashad Ismayilov said this at an event held as part of WUF13 in Baku.
According to him, cities are already feeling the effects of these developments.
"Urban development and construction should now be planned not only from the standpoint of economic indicators, but also with consideration for environmental protection, social well-being and climate resilience. To meet the needs of present and future generations, it is necessary to introduce green technologies, use energy efficiently, and transition to a circular economy and digital governance," he said.
