Azerbaijan to ban industrial fishing from April 1

In connection with the spawning season, a moratorium on industrial fishing in inland waters - rivers, lakes, reservoirs, comes into force on April 1, which will last until September 1, Report informs, citing the head of the Biological Diversity Protection Service, Firuddin Aliyev.
He noted that the ban does not apply to reclamation collectors. The head of the service urged all those involved in industrial fishing to comply with the rules during the moratorium.
"Those engaged in sport and recreational fishing can fish under the conditions established by law."
