“Illegal armed formations in Karabakh pose a serious threat to the lives of hundreds of our people every day. About 10,000 illegal militants have been present in that area for nearly three years,” Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Special Assignments Elchin Amirbayov said in an interview with French radio, Report informs.
Emphasizing that Armenia provides all kinds of support to the separatists, Amirbayov said that Armenia also finances the separatists from its state budget: "All of these pose serious risks to the security of our state. Therefore, it was decided to take local anti-terror activities and neutralize the legitimate military objects of the other side."
