Parliament of Azerbaijan sets date for first meeting after elections

The first plenary meeting of the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan), within its autumn session, will be held on September 30, Report informs.

According to the Internal Charter of the Milli Majlis, the autumn session begins on September 30 and continues until December 30.

If September 30 falls on a weekend, voting day, or a public holiday, the session begins on the first working day following this date.

Thus, the first plenary session of the parliament within the autumn session will be held on September 30, 2024.
