The people of Africa face numerous challenges in their struggle for development, Kenyan representative Christine Kandie said at a roundtable discussion at WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
She noted that the main problem facing most Africans is housing.
"Policies are out of sync with our reality; they weaken us instead of strengthening us. Africa faces persistent challenges of forced displacement, armed conflict, and difficult living conditions, including limited access to education for children and high levels of poverty. We face many challenges in our fight for human rights and development," Kandi added.
