AzRCS insists on delivery of its food cargo to residents of Armenian descent in Khankandi

“In case of a positive response, we will immediately deliver the food cargo to the residents of Armenian origin,” Gafar Asgarzada, vice president of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzRCS), told journalists, Report informs.

He said that AzRCS representatives and volunteers have been there for a week: “The management of AzRCS held relevant negotiations with the command of Russian peacekeepers temporarily stationed on the territory of Azerbaijan. We have not yet received a positive response from the other side. We are currently waiting for the other party's response. In case of a positive answer, we will immediately deliver the food cargo to the residents of Armenian descent. In addition, after certain technical issues are resolved and the safety of AzRCS employees is fully guaranteed, we will conduct monitoring and evaluation work by involving specialists. Then, if the Armenians need anything, we will determine it, and help deliver those foods and products to them.”
