Azerbaijan sets up Geological Exploration Agency

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on measures to ensure the activities of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

Report informs that under the document, on the basis of the National Geological Exploration Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, a legal entity of public law, the Geological Exploration Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, will be created.

Geodesy and Cartography Limited Liability Company under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan will be reorganized by transforming it into the Agency of Geodesy and Cartography with the status of a legal entity of public law under the Ministry of Ecology.
