Australian MP congratulates Azerbaijani community

Julie Owens, a member of the Australian New South Wales (NSW) Parliament and Federal Member of Parramatta, congratulated the Azerbaijani community in the country on October 18 - the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence.
According to the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora, the MP sent a congratulatory letter to the Association of Azerbaijanis in Australia.
The MP said she was honored and pleased to congratulate Azerbaijanis on this historical event: "For Australia, this anniversary gives us the opportunity to celebrate the holiday together with the Azerbaijani community, which contributes to the life of our society. Happy holiday!"
