COP29 Presidency discusses green investments and energy transition with key partners

Azerbaijan's COP29 Presidency held a series of bilateral meetings during the "Sustainable Energy for All" forum in Bridgetown, Barbados, with representatives of international organizations to discuss steps toward global energy transition and attracting green investments.

According Report, Azerbaijani representatives explored how national commitments can contribute to the development of sustainable energy resources and provide financial support for initiatives in this field.

Separate meetings were held with the Special Representative to the UN-Secretary General Damilola Ogunbiyi, Deputy Secretary General of CARICOMArmstrong Alexis, CARICOM climate envoy James Fletcher, and finally Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund Mafalda Duarte.
