UNFCCC: Azerbaijan will be successful in realizing all sustainable development goals

Azerbaijan will succeed not only in providing biodiversity but also in realizing all the goals of the sustainable development agenda, said Sergey Kononov, Manager of Programmes Coordination of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), at the 2nd Baku Forum on “Sustainable finance and investment” held in Baku, Report informs.

“One of the main challenges facing biodiversity today is ensuring institutional coordination. Representatives of numerous institutions and ministries actively participate in this forum. It seems that the Sustainable Development Goals are being actively implemented in Azerbaijan, and this is the right approach. I am sure that Azerbaijan will succeed in this field,” Kononov said.
