Sahib Alakbarov: Widespread use of artificial intelligence requires increased attention to this area

The widespread use of artificial intelligence technologies in the future requires increased attention to this area, training of specialists with new thinking and the definition of ethical standards, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Alakbarov said, Report informs.

He was speaking at the event "Artificial Intelligence in the New Generation Economy: Challenges and Opportunities" held in Baku within the "Strategy for Socio-Economic Development for 2022-2026", dedicated to the topic "Application of Technologies of the 4th industrial revolution in the national economy."

He noted that the rapid development of technology and the emergence of advanced GPT models create a great need for the creation of procurement standards: "It is also very important to develop new rules and procedures in this area. To more effectively organize the procurement process in enterprises, management must define a unified plan of strategy in the field of artificial intelligence."
